The design for this apartment allows for the separation of daily activities while keeping an open floor plan and a view to the Huangpu River from anywhere in the main living space. The separation of spaces is accomplished by two pieces of floor to ceiling glass panels. Radiant floor heating and a water cooled central air system were installed to create a comfortable interior environment while providing for maximum energy savings.
